Overview

The Product Manager is the driver of the project. It is his / her Managerial skill that will ensure that the team delivers a quality product to the client. He / She is expected to understand the Product need, the Clients need and the Team’s ability to deliver. He / she must be able to initiate, monitor, manage and deliver the project successfully.

He / she should have the technical skills needed to deliver the product and be a guide and mentor to the team. He / she must be a hands on Manager.
l  Understand the Business and add value to the technical solution, which is the product.

l  Manage the Products he is responsible for.

l  Should be the interface between the team and management.

l  Is responsible for Client interaction with regards to product delivery, implementation and support.

l  Must always be aware of his clients concerns through regular interaction.

l  Identify, assessand manage risk with regards to the product and provide a mitigation plan.

l  Responsible for delivering the Product as per Specification, Quality, Schedule and Budget.

l  Analyse the requirements and create the task plan with accurate estimation and resource allocation.

l  Design the application for highest performance in Front End, API as well as the Database level.

l  Ensure the developers are developing the application as per the standards and perform unit testing to deliver error free code.

l  Monitor and manage reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

l  Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

l  Must ensure process compliance of his team.

l  Must ensure that quality processes are understood and followed by his team.

l  Providing support for issues escalate by the support team.

l  Must have a good understanding of this Team’s competence to ensure he gets the best out of them

3.         EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
      Overall :    10 to 15 yrs

4.   TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Primary Skills

l  2-4 years of experience in AngularJS (1.x version ), MVC, Web API/Entity Framework

l  8+ years of experience in .NET Framework like C#.Net/ ASP.Net

l  Minimum 8  years of experience on Web Application development , ADO.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery

l  Experience in product development.

l  Should bea Project Manager and managed a team of 6-10 people for a minimum period of 2 years.

l  Must have good exposure on query writing and DB management for writing stored procedures/ user-defined functions

l  Should have a very good understanding of the project architecture

l  Should have experience in Project Estimation, Project Scheduling, Task Assignment, Project Management, Communication, Support Process, Project Leadership and most of all Risk Management.

l  Quality Management Process implementation skills

l  Project Management experience with Waterfall / Agile.

l  Should have experience in developing ERP applications or Data Intensive Business applications.

l  Good knowledge on the infrastructure requirements for deploying the project in the production environment.

Desired Skills

l  PMP/CSM certification

l  Should have experience in Test Driven development using Nunit, Jasmine and Protractor etc.

l  Hands on experience of configuration management and version management

l  Prior experience of working in the shipping domain

l  Hand on experience in writing technical specifications

l  Security of the product

6 .EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
 

B-Tech, M-Tech, BE / MCA with A PGDM is preferable

Age between 35 – 45 Years
